Proposed Judkins Park
Business Improvement Area
What is a BIA?
Business Improvement Areas (BIAs) are funding mechanisms for business district revitalization and management. Local stakeholders oversee and fund the maintenance, improvement, and promotion of their commercial district.
The purpose and goal of the proposed Judkins Park Business Improvement Area is to enhance economic vitality and create a livable, walkable, safe and secure community in the area. By forming a collective of local business owners, residents, and property owners, we aim to create a thriving and vibrant district that benefits everyone who lives, works, and visits here. The proposed Business Improvement Area (BIA) will serve as a unified voice advocating for improvements, fostering collaboration, and promoting a clean & safe business core that reflects the unique character and needs of our neighborhood.
The proposed area in the shaded map to the right has been selected by the City of Seattle to receive support to form a Business Improvement Area.
